Goodwood Wedding Under the Oaks, Kris and Susan’s Story

Kris and Susan were married under the oaks at Goodwood Museum and Gardens under the oaks on a gorgeous Friday morning. They wrote their own heartfelt and the ceremony was officiated by Kris’s best friend. Mr and Mrs Creel’s intimate wedding was witnessed by family with a celebration for friends the following evening. I loved Susan’s lace dress and the detail on the back of her wedding gown.

I met with her a few days before the wedding to go over everything, and it was so clear that she knows exactly what she’s doing and she can navigate any potential wedding issue. On the day of the wedding she was there right on time and she was so calm and organized, it helped me stay calm! She got all of the shots I wanted and more. When it came time to get pictures of the whole family together she was efficient and kind; it didn’t take long at all! With only her daughters by their side and a dear friend performing the ceremony, it was heartfelt and beautiful. After their ceremony, they had their first dance as husband and wife on the boat from the private beach back to Emerald Grande. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Adams!

Mr and Mrs Worrell’s Soft, Southern, Romantic Goodwood Wedding- Preppy Fun! Holly and Andrew were married under the majestic Goodwood Oaks in the company of their family and friends. Their infectious smiles lit up the entire celebration.

You can’t help but love their answers from the “Tell me your story” questionnaire they filled out when they booked…

What are your favorite things about each other?

Andrew has one of the best personalities and laughs (and you of course can’t miss those darling dimples). He is beyond supportive and caring and has such a great heart. Most importantly, he makes me SO HAPPY! One of my favorite things about Holly is her smile (I can’t seem to ever say no to that) and the way she makes me laugh. She has always been there supporting and encouraging me. Without a doubt, she has been the best thing to come into my life.

I loved every minute of capturing their love- from their rustic engagement session at a friends property to their grand exit. Congrats y’all!

Hi Kay just wanted to thank you. For making our day fun while your doing what you love best. It seem like we knew each other forever. and that made the process smooth. I really hate taking pictures and orders but coming from an outstanding, funny, and beautiful inside and out person as your self I put up with ya. Lol im not a mushy person but anything you need help with just let me or Sloan know. Hope to see you sometime.FYI (I didn’t get any emails doing the whole process) But you get a pass. Yes, that is straight from the groom. Not only did it make me tear up alittle but it is the perfect way for me to start their wedding post. From the second I met them, I knew I HAD to capture their wedding day.

I was so excited to see the story online about The Grove Tallahassee Historic Governors Mansion Open for Tours and Weddings and the plan to open it to the public. What a historic gem this is in Tallahassee. I have been lucky enough to photograph a gorgeous John Gandy Event wedding reception at this venue and I wanted to post some of my very favorite images to share with you.

Mr and Mrs Roberts- Sweet Rustic Tallahassee Wedding

Mr and Mrs Roberts were married in an intimate sweet rustic Tallahassee wedding ceremony at the brides parents home surrounded by family and friends. It was truly a family affair! Ricky’s sister performed the ceremony and everyone worked hard to make this wedding fantastic. During their wedding vows, there wasn’t a dry eye as they exchanged rings and kissed for the first time as husband and wife.

Their rustic themed wedding reception was held in the backyard and a great time was had by all! Congratulations Mr & Mrs Roberts!

Mama’s Girls~ Stylish Maternity Photography Session

Miss E can’t wait for her sweet baby sister to arrive! We chose a {somewhat} cool Tallahassee morning to meet at Dorothy Oven Park for their stylish maternity photography session. I love that mom decided to wear a flowing gown in a gorgeous blue and dressed sweet Miss E in a flowered dress- it was the perfect outfit to photograph them in the natural setting.
The warmth and love that they showed one another was the sweetest and made me miss when my girl was little.
Miss E isn’t the only one who is looking forward to meeting her little sister, I can’t either!

Wedding Photography Published in Northwest Florida Weddings Magazine

YAHOO!! I love being in print! Woohoo my Wedding Photography Published in Northwest Florida Weddings Magazine. Big thank you to Rowland Publishing and Northwest Florida Weddings and Honeymoon Destinations for featuring some of my work! My relationship started with Rowland Publishing over 10 years ago when I started shooting for features and articles for both the Tallahassee Magazine (http://www.tallahasseemagazine.com/) and 850 Magazine (http://www.850businessmagazine.com/)

Freelancing for them them now is as fun as ever! I get to meet cool people and learn interesting new things while helping tell people’s stories.

When they started publishing Northwest—– I knew the magazine would be a hit! (http://issuu.com/rowlandpublishing/docs/nwflweddings2014) In the two issues that have come out I have been so honored to have weddings and images featured and be included as a contributor. Lido Key Beach Florida Wedding – Introducing Mr. and Mrs Ketterer

When Staci and I met for lunch to talk about her wedding, I was over the moon. Not only do I love helping brides plan their wedding with ideas and tips, but it is especially fun when the bride is a close friend. She told me that she and Jason were wanting a tropical setting, not in N. Florida and we talked about some places she loved to visit. Once they decided on having their Lido Key Beach Florida Wedding near Sarasota, FL we got all the details together. Her friend Ashley, who lives there, was the point person for all wedding organizing. From the cake to the flowers, she worked hard to make their wedding perfect.

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is the perfect place for a bride to get ready for her wedding day. The suite was beautiful and there was plenty of room for Staci and a few friends to get ready. Staci’s resort suite overlooked the ocean and had a private balcony with stairs down

Staci and Jason chose the beach at Lido Key Beach, Florida for their intimate wedding. A handful of friends witness their exchanging of vows on a perfect Spring evening. The bride’s best friend, Natalie officiated the ceremony and had each guest read a quote offering the newlyweds love and support on their journey together. The bride wore a vintage ruby engagement ring and Jason added a gorgeous diamond band to the ensemble. Boho chic is the perfect description of the brides dress and vibe of their wedding day. I loved photographing Mr & Mrs Ketterer since I have known Staci (Stawcy, as I call her) for a few years and being their to capture their day was an honor.

Following the ceremony, we dined at Dine Shore in Sarasota and toasted the couple with words of love and lots of laughs. Mr and Mrs Ketterer spent the weekend at The Resort at Longboat Key Club .
