Just a few of the early images from the opening!

Mini cupcakes were from Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery http://www.lucyandleoscupcakery.com/
Champagne glasses from In Tents Events http://www.myintentsevents.com/
And my sister, otherwise known as my sissistant, Christy and a few very close friends Kelly M. & Catie C! I could not have done it without you <3 Christy made the 100+ tags for the glasses with the logo on them. They were a big hit!
A summer open house is in the works complete with a movie for the kids and refreshments for everyone!
I got this email today from a bride that booked me for her June 23rd wedding. It just made me feel wonderful! Thanks Kristen!
Kay
I just wanted to thank you so much for working with me (I should say my dad) and getting me everything I wanted and in my budget. You have no idea how happy you have made me. I looked at so many photographers websites and portfolios and you were my #1 on my list! Like I said before the photography is the most important thing to me on my wedding day besides actually getting married so to know you (my #1 pick!) will be there to capture it is a dream come true! And as my dad told you I am thrilled to do the rock the dress session with you. That underwater picture (I think I read her name is Mandy) you did is probably the coolest picture I have ever seen! So thanks again and I can’t wait until the big day!

Sheila & Glenn were so much fun to photograph. The setting was just gorgeous. You simply cannot beat a beautiful Tallahassee Spring Day! I especially loved Sheila’s veil! Check it out…

I am so happy that Spring is finally here. Better late than never!
The studio is having a fabulous special the week of April 5th-9th. Sessions are $50 and include 2 5×7’s and an 8×10 of your choice!

Email me today at kay@kaymeyerphotography.com or call the studio 850.894.4529 to reserve your session! Space is very limited!
This wedding was on one gorgeous day! Thank goodness, since it was all outside at a quaint Tallahassee Park. Erin & Don were so fun to photograph!

The guests got to play games during the cocktail hour. What a great idea!

I love that Erin found Don some socks that matched! This image is definitely going up in the studio!

Erin convinced a groomsman to “take a bite” of the last layer of caker. Too bad for him it was a dummy layer. It was hysterical!

Erin’s Grandma caught the bouquet!
The winner of the 2009 Kay Meyer Wedding Image of the Year is….. The Duncan’s Make a Break For It! Congratulations guys!
Thank you all for voting, I loved reading your comments.

This is the third year that I have had the pleasure in serving on the planning committee for this event. I love getting to photograph all of the jewels each year. This year was no different. The Women of Distinction event is this evening at the Hotel Duval.

This jewelry will be up for auction tonight! I love the beaded one!
