An editor friend at Brides Magazine called me a few weeks ago about submitting a story about my favorites locations to shoot an engagement session. Since, every wedding I shoot has a complimentary engagement session included, I really had to think of some of my favorite places. I came up with shooting while strolling downtown Tallahassee and Railroad Square. Both locations have so much variety and are alot of fun!

I struggled with a mix of sadness that the kids are growing up so fast and elation that I had my schedule back when school started this year. Here are a few quick shots of my 3 sweeties (and our silly neighbor Michael!)

I was so excited to photograph Caroline & Dewey’s wedding! They were married on a beautiful July day in downtown Tallahassee.
I loved that they had a bagpiper lead their guests the few blocks from Trinity to the Governor’s Club. It was such a great idea. Their band, Loose Change ROCKED the house with great music and Marlo with the Governor’s Club delivered a flawless reception. Congrats Mr & Mrs Hudson!

Well, they emailed… but it counts right?
I was thrilled to get an email from Cristina with Brides Florida asking to see more of some of the weddings I have posted on my blog. I was more than happy to oblige! I submitted the Moore, Suarez and Friedman weddings from this year. These weddings are also still online at http://kaymeyer.nextproof.com/ and I invite you to check them out!

I could gush about this couple all day. So, all I’ll say is that it is possible to find your prince charming. They are a wonderful couple!

Hey friends! I was so excited when Cindy told me that she & Peter were getting married. I was even more excited when she asked me if I could photograph their wedding! I have known Cindy for years and I am so happy for her! My very favorite part of their intimate wedding was when she had a bagpiper walk down the beach. He had no idea. As soon as he heard the bagpipes, he turned and looked at her. It was a beautiful moment! That evening at Caliza, there was an incredible stormy sky. It was so fun photographing them out on the roof.
Thank you Cindy & Peter!
