Kirby wedding

This Carillon Meeting House wedding was beautiful! Jean Marie surprised her mom and bridesmaids with her gorgeous lace gown. I just loved it!  Jean Marie, Will & their wedding party had the COOLEST kicks (sneakers)  ever! Jean Marie had custom Chuck Taylors made for the bridal party as gits. What a great idea! It was such a pleasure getting to know this fantastic couple.

Mr Joyner LOVES Mrs Joyner!

Alice Kate and Daniel were married at the Marriott Grand Hotel in Point Clear Alabama. I loved photographing this wedding! It was my first time, but not the last, to visit this beautiful Marriott property. My sissistant (sister + assistant) and I had a great time working with coordinator extraordinaire, Pat Herndon.

The bride and groom were surrounded by their family and friends under the glorious oak trees overlooking Mobile Bay. Her hair was the most beautiful and unique I have seen. It was elegant and sophisticated and not too overdone. I loved that all of her red hair was pulled off to the side. Their guests enjoyed the gorgeous sunset during the cocktail hour and a beautiful evening dancing away to the music of Mr. Big.

It was the perfect venue for a wedding. The resort is located right on Mobile Bay, I loved everything about it and plan to return with my family!

I am so very happy with the way this brand new blog came out. I just LOVE it!

It is so much easier to use with lots of helpful information with so much more to come! Take a browse around and let me know what you think.Thank you to Christy, the best sissistant anyone could have for the inspiration for the name, MB Waddill for the encouragement to do this and to John G. for your nuggets of good advice.

Anthony & Amy!

The story of Anthony’s proposal to Amy is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard! Amy went to visit her family in Tampa, by herself, under the impression that Anthony was unable to go. While in Tampa, firetrucks came blaring down her parent’s street, and a firefighter knocked on the door to ask Amy to go outside. When Amy got outside, there was Anthony, awaiting her arrival on one knee with a ring in his hand! Isn’t that sweet?

Their wedding was absolutely amazing! They put so much work into it (doing most of the work themselves, in fact), and it definitely paid off because their big day couldn’t have been more perfect. The wedding was on the beach (it was a beautiful day), and the reception was held at the Isle of Palm, a private home in St. George Island.

Long ago, Anthony and Amy’s first date was on St. George Island. Anthony brought a Papa John’s pizza and Miller High Life for them to enjoy together. So, years later at their wedding it was only fitting to have these two things as they celebrate their wedding day. Gotta love the High Life!espinosa-395espinosa-403espinosa-419espinosa-497

One of the most touching moments was when Amy and her grandpa had a dance together. I hear him say that he had not danced in years and years. It was so very sweet!espinosa-558The end of the night with one of our firefighter friends!

My very favorites of Mr & Mrs Adams

Nick and Dana were so photogenic, it was hard to narrow their images  down for this post. Dana’s Watters gown looked spectacular!

Gorgeous wedding bouquet! The team at Events by Nouveau Flowers  is so very talented. They also designed the elements of the wedding and reception.

Nick first asked Dana out by writing on a lampshade, so it was fitting that he present this to his bride right before they walked down the aisle.

Rhonda’s cake was a wonder! She handmade these detailed white and ivory flowers, aren’t they beautiful? This cake was one of my very favorite cakes of all time.
