Mr. & Mrs. McNamara

Congrats to newlyweds, Peter and Meredith! This New York couple left the big city and headed for Meredith’s hometown, Tallahassee, for a glamorous, southern wedding. The ladies got ready at the historic Governor’s Inn. Later, the beautiful bride and her bridesmaids walked to First Baptist Church where the ceremony was held. The wedding party rode a trolley to the reception, which took place at Doak Campbell Stadium in the fabulous University Center Club. One of the BEST live bands I’ve heard in while, Valdosta’s own, Fabulous Classics, kept the party alive by interacting with guests and performing a wide variety of hit music! Everyone had a blast!  With sparklers in hand, loving friends and family waved goodbye to Peter and Meredith as the couple made their romantic getaway in a Mustang convertible. <3

Sweet message on my facebook page

If you don’t know Jubilee Flowers based in Fairhope, AL, you should. The were the designers of the Cummings-Joyner wedding flowers. I just LOVED Alice Kate’s bouquet as well as her maids’s creations. They are SO talented and SWEET!

Jubilee Flowers Kay..as a floral designer, I would just like to tell you how much it means to US and to the BRIDE that you got sooo many wonderful photos of the flowers! They paid good money for the florals and a lot of the times the wedding day is so hectic, that they dont’t even remember what the centerpieces looked like. So, as a wedding photographer..you rock! 🙂

Introducing…. Mr. & Mrs. Jinright!

The evening before their wedding Mr. & Mrs. Jinright hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner at the Pavillion at Grand Point. The Pavillion overlooks Lake Powell and provides guests with a great location for a party or family gathering. Trey requested a low country boil for his friends and family. He was sure to point out that he did not want cake for dessert, instead his mom had Marble Slab Creamery there to make each guest their custom ice cream creation.

Claire and Trey were married in the serene Carillon Meeting House among their closest friends and family. I just loved their details and thought that they put into “every little thing.” I especially loved our time down at the beach. Photographing a couple after their official announcement and dance is the perfect time to make the most of the light! It is my very favorite time, the pressure is off and they can take time to be together (with me photographing them, of course.

Now this made me feel great…… Mrs. Walker, Claire’s mother, emailed me days after the wedding, “You did an awesome job capturing the wedding. Claire has commented over and over how comfortable she was with you and how your personalities meshed together. You and your sister were great and we an hardly wait to see the pictures. She said the ones on the beach were beautiful.” I also got an email from Claire a few days ago, “I can’t wait to see the pics! Thanks do much for taking the time to photograph my big weekend! You were so easy to work with and everyone loved you…we have had some pretty bad experiences with other photographers before…!!!”

SPARK* in { Seaside }

I loved meeting Joslyne and Wes in Seaside for their engagement photos! They had some serious chemistry and that special spark that is so much fun to capture! It was great getting to know them and I am so looking forward to their upcoming wedding on April 16th at a private residence in Seagrove Beach.

Sweet Charlotte

I have been so blessed to know Charlotte since birth as her mommy has a Kay Meyer Baby Plan. She is just so incredibly sweet, I love photographing her!

The sneezing baby shot is one of my favorites!

Ooh La La Boudoir

January’s Velvet Valentines shoot was a huge success! The shoot took place at the luxurious Hotel Duval in a beautiful diamond suite. Before each shoot, the girls were treated to professional hair and makeup, champagne and a light lunch in the hotel’s elegant library. A BIG shout out to Meena’s Classic Touch and Makeup By Leslie Reinhard for making each girl look so stunning, and also, a BIG thanks to Stella & Dot stylist, Malissa Henning, for providing the girls with such a glamorous assortment of jewelry to wear during their shoots!

I do Boudoir shoots twice a year, in both November and January, so if you missed out on the fun, no worries…you can still experience the excitement of a Boudoir shoot later this year! Contact me if you’re interested in the November Boudoir shoot, and I’ll send you more information as the date approaches. Although I have these large Boudoir parties twice a year, I can also schedule you a solo Boudoir shoot or one for you and your best girl friends anytime during the year.

Again, this was a fantastic shoot! Thank you to everyone who helped and participated! I can’t wait to get the little black books back from my album company.  These ladies looked  fab; their special someones are in for a treat! 😉
