Best Wedding Image of 2011~ Who’s your fave?

It’s that time of year again…for YOU to pick your Fav Photo of 2011! I’ve done the hard work narrowing down all of the photos; now it’s up to you to choose the #1 wedding  photo of the year! The winning couple will be awarded one 20×24 art print of their choice!

Participation is easy–just leave a comment {ON THIS BLOG} telling which photo you think is the best. Lots of comments are encouraged and welcomed, but you can only vote once. When you comment, it is essential that you include your Fav Photo’s  photo number (located above each photo).

Velvet Valentine 2012

 

The 2012 Velvet Valentine is going to be HAUTE!
I am so very excited to announce that these sessions will be at the Hotel Duval in downtown Tallahassee. The Hotel Duval is like none other in the city, it is just amazing! You will have a much deserved afternoon of pampering that will be highlighted with an intimate shoot for the perfect Valentine surprise. Feel free to forward this email to your friends, the more the merrier!

Who, What, When and Where?

Sessions are on Friday January 27th in a gorgeous suite at the Hotel Duval. Sessions will start @ 5:30pm and go through 9pm. It will be a fun way to start to your girls night out or hot date!
The fee is only $300 and includes hair by Jordan of Hair on Earth, makeup by Leslie McClellan, champagne, light snacks, a fun private session and a custom designed little black book for your Valentine. Only 5 sessions are available, so please respond quickly. The studio number is 850-894-4529 if you have any questions.

This album is so beautiful, your man will be pleasantly surprised! These books are all 5×5 leather bound books with “little black book” stamped on the front.
All images will be presented as black and white. Your previews will be available within a week online and protected with a password as well as the “top secret image” to keep your session private. No one will have access to your images, unless you want them to. An album will be designed for you and you will have one revision to the design.

The best thing about these sessions is that you have time to relax, be pampered and have a great time visiting with your friends while you are getting ready. Kay Meyer would love to schedule a private party for you and your friends. All we ask is that you have at least 4 people interested and you will get 1/2 off your session. Dates through 1/28 are available.

Andy & Kristin! Pebble Hill Wedding

Kristin and Andy were married on the green of Pebble Hill Plantation with their reception in the Stable Courtyard. I particularly loved this wedding as both Kristin and Andy put so much work into every little detail. From the hand sewn “Just Married” banner to each and every table featuring a unique herb/centerpiece arrangement to a beautiful vintage table with an assortment of pies for their guests (including gluten free options.) Their thoughtfulness hard work was evident everywhere you looked. John Gandy and his team pulled everything together perfectly and Missy Gunnels designed some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen. Their band was amazing, playing a few of my very favorite songs during the reception. One particularly touching moment during the reception was when Andy’s grandmother began her toast to them saying, “Andy, I loved you from the moment I set eyes on you.” She went on to tell Kristin she was so happy to have her in their family. It was one of the best toasts I have ever heard.

Jennifer & Mike were married in beautiful downtown Tallahassee at Trinity United Methodist Church. (It just so happens yours truly was also married there over 15 years ago..) Their fun Capital City Country Club reception was meticulously designed and planned by John Gandy Events and was flawless. Guests enjoyed a delicious seated dinner, followed by fun toasts and loads of dancing. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hopgood!

Introducing Mrs. L’Esperance!

Miss Kristin Cornwell and Andy L’Esperance exchanged their vows at the magnificent Pebble Hill Plantation this afternoon. I am so very happy to be their photographer and also to show you some of her bridal images we shot last month. I had to wait to post them (of course) so Andy would not see what she looks like in her dress. It was very important to them to keep her dress totally secret. She could not wait to see his face as she walked down the aisle.
